Life Sciences:
Life Science is a significant growth sector within Scotland which is rapidly developing a reputation for excellence regionally, nationally and globally. Digital Healthcare and Natural Products are the organisation’s two main streams of activity.
P4 Digital Healthcare:
Scotland is ideally placed as a location for leading innovation in healthcare. It has supportive policy environment and a health board specifically tasked with delivering healthcare using digital technology (NHS24). A necessary response to the unique set of global trends and drivers is more preventative, predictive, personalised and participatory healthcare (P4 Digital). Digital Healthcare is developing in the region with particular growth in diabetes research with Lifescan, a subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson, the Highland Diabetes Institute and Clinical Research Facility.

The European MHealth Alliance (EuMHA) is an initiative designed to support and promote the wider adoption of healthcare and wellbeing (including sports and fitness) products, services, applications and innovation across Europe. EuMHA is a non-profit organisation that will concentrate on the economic development of the MHealth sector. EuMHA provides a unique partnership of organisations, companies and government bodies. This partnership will be committed to creating positive and long lasting change through innovation across Europe, and provides a framework of sustainable growth where MHealth can flourish for the benefit of all of its citizens.

Continua Health Alliance is a not-for-profit, open industry coalition of the finest healthcare and technology companies joining together in collaboration to improve the quality of personal healthcare.
